Updates to minecraft ranged from 1.0 to 1.17.1. each major update was added 0.1 and each smaller update added 0.0.1. each update was a change on the game each update changes something in minecraft. after the game was crated in 2009 the game had 17 major updates each changing the game forever

  • 1.0 The Adventure update happens the end and enchanting are added
  • 1.1 Spawn eggs get added
  • 1.2 jungles and iron golems get added
  • 1.3 trading and temples get added
  • 1.4 withers anvils and command blocks get added

  • 1.6 horse update. adds horses
  • 1.7 The update that changed the world. new biomes are added and a new world generator is added
  • 1.8 bountiful update. ocean monuments and slime block are added
  • 1.9 the combat update. end cities, elytras, and combat changes
  • 1.10 The Frostburn update polarbears and magma blocks get added
  • 1.11 exploration update. woodlang mansions and shulker boxes get added
  • 1.12 The world of color update. parrots, new wool colors, concreate, and terrocota gets added
  • 1.13 Update aquatic comes. Drowned, phantoms, coral reefs, tropical fish and turtles get added
  • 1.14 Village and Pillage gets added. Textures get reskined, piligers, bamboo, pandas, and ravengers are added
  • 1.15 Buzzy bees update. bees get added and so does honey
  • 1.16 The nether update. netherite gets added piglins, hoglins,the warped forst, the crimson forest
  • the soul sand valleys, piglin brutes, bastions and achient
  • 1.17 The caves and cliffs update. goats, new caves, the new y level is -64, bronze, wax, glow lichen axolotls, glow squids, and ores are retextured
